You've been on a plane for about 4 hours, you've finally got your suitcase, you're walking through the gate and then... where should I go?
Car rental
If you have rented a car, walk out the gate and turn right towards the Spar supermarket, turn right around the corner, walk down the escalators and past the lift then turn left, and voilá there are all the offices of the larger car rental companies. Once you have signed the papers and the car key in your hand, walk a little further into that hall and you can go out to the parking garage on the left. There you take the lift down and all the way down (Parking C) is the parking garage of the rental cars. Taxi
Don't feel like fussing and and you want to get your accommodation quickly? Take a taxi. When you walk out the gate, and through the sliding doors, many taxi drivers are waiting for you. To Playa del Inglés/Maspalomas it costs about € 38,- to Puerto Rico you pay about € 48,- at night and Sundays and holidays it is a bit more expensive. A taxi for up to 4 people costs € 30,- and you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Playa del Inglés or Maspalomas! For larger groups, or other destinations, you can always contact me for a quote.
Public transport
If you prefer to go by public transport, you can take the bus. The price of a single ticket is around € 5,- you can buy in the bus with your debit card from the driver. How do you get to the buses? From the gate turn right, walk past the supermarket Spar. The easiest and safest way is to walk into the parking garage, take the lift upstairs, and then walk left towards the road. Next to the entrance of the parking garage, to the right of the roundabout are the bus stops. For buses going directly south, see the links below.
